Barking & Havering District Tournament

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Barking & Havering League a tournament is being held on Sunday 12th May. The event will be run on a handicap basis giving every player a good opportunity to do well. The venue is the new dedicated badminton centre at William Edward School, Grays.

Sean Victorious at Colchester 1*

Sean Yakes picked up the gold medal in the Y8/9 Boys Singles at the Colchester 1* tournament last weekend. In a competitive section won the final against local favourite Kieran Roxborough of the Gilberd School.

Over 100 players entered the event many of whom were playing in their first competitive tournament.
